VICTORIA COLLEGE BELFAST OLD GIRLS’ASSOCIATION - 2025 DINNER
Friday 9th May 2025
Dunmurry Golf Club
6.45pm for 7.30pm
We are delighted to be holding our 2025 Reunion in Dunmurry Golf Club. The Function area affords spectacular views over the Golf Course, and we hope to enjoy our Drinks Reception in early summer sunshine.
Please see the booking form for further details, and how to reserve your place.
The cost of £40 includes a gratuity, a drink on arrival, and a glass of wine with the meal, but not any additional beverages ordered at the table.
Old Girls no longer pay a membership fee and so we rely on the Ballot to raise funds for the Association.
Members of Committee have donated a range of attractive prizes and we ask that you bring cash to purchase tickets on 9th May.
You will see that there are currently 2 “Year Groups” planning to attend and we encourage any further parties of Old Girls who wish to have a group table to contact Patricia Moorhead as soon as possible. Email: patriciamoorhead@yahoo.co.uk
Jennifer Breene and Jennifer Mussen are co-ordinating the 1965 Year Group, and their contact details are as follows:
Sharon Henderson and Carolyn Lewis are co-ordinating the 1975 Year Group and can be contacted at vcboldgirls@live.com
All other guests coming as individuals, or in small groups, can be assured of a warm welcome, and we will try to ensure that you are seated with others who attended Victoria around the same time.
Early booking is recommended.
The evening promises to be a wonderful opportunity to share memories of your school days whether you attended Lower Crescent or Cranmore, boarded or not.
Please note that under the revised Constitution,
accepted at the 2017 AGM, all former pupils and
current and past members of staff are now considered
‘Old Girls’ and are therefore invited to the Annual Dinner.

In 1873 Mrs Byers commissioned the building of a new school to house the growing number of pupils attending the ‘Ladies Collegiate College’. The school was situated on the corner of University Road and Lower Crescent Park in South Belfast.
Today the Crescent Arts Centre occupies the building and this year they are celebrating their 30th Anniversary while also acknowledging the 150th Anniversary of the opening of the school, later to become Victoria College Belfast.
